This year has been such a challenge for so many in our community. As Christmas approaches it’s nice to know that in a year where so much has changed that one thing remains the same; we are still able to be generous and impact others, making a tangible difference to someone in need. Once again, we have partnered with George Jay School and have volunteered to create Christmas Hampers for two families who could use our help.

We are privileged to help the following families this year:

Family #1: Single mother with 2 boys ages 6 and 7.

Family #2: Single mother with a 7-year-old daughter.

We will be collecting donations to help purchase the Gift of Good Food (a monthly delivery of fresh fruit and vegetables), toys, books, cloths and gift cards for each child and a Walmart gift card for the family to purchase food and extras. These past seven years have been a huge success and extremely rewarding for everyone involved. Donations may be made online via our website or by cash or cheque. Tuesday, December 15th is the last day for donations, so we encourage you to donate as soon as possible.
